Good to know
- Transport: While budget-conscious, renting a small car for Days 2, 4, and 5 is highly recommended for flexibility. Otherwise, use 'TIB' buses which are excellent and cheap.
- Dining: Always check for 'Menu del Dia' (fixed-price lunch) which usually includes 3 courses and a drink for 12-15 EUR.
- Water: Drink bottled or filtered water; the tap water on the island is safe but has a high mineral content and salty taste.
- Reservations: For the Soller Train, you cannot book in advance—arrive 30 mins early at the Palma station.
- Siesta: Many local shops in villages close between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Plan your shopping/exploration accordingly.
